How do you charge? Two ways. If the client has detailed plans and, prior to pricing, has made all major decisions concerning products and design, we can give you an up-front contract price. However, if all the details concerning the project have not been determined, we can complete the project on a time and material basis. All labor and materials receipts are passed on to the customer at cost plus a small percentage for profit and overhead. The same for subcontractors. We will also be glad to work out a budget for your project in order to estimate accurately what your dream job will cost.
Are you licensed and insured? Yes, we are licensed by the State of New Jersey as an approved remodeling contractor. We are also fully insured and will provide an insurance certificate upon request. We only use licensed and insured sub-contractors.
Does my job require a permit? Probably, but we will tell you when the project is discussed. We will also take care of all permit (and zoning and health, if needed) applications, and we will be responsible for all required inspections. A certificate of occupancy will be sent directly to you after all final inspections are approved.
Can I help with the project? If the payment method is time and material, you are welcome to do any phase of the job you feel qualified to do.
